Beautiful lantern with interesting life story. Each one is unique in the hip antique look. Always individual, none of them equal to the other. Different colours. Green, red, blue.
Standard color is green. For other color please ask!
The lanterns began their life cycle in Indonesia as oil canisters. Clever craftsmen bought the veteran tin boxes and inserted a glass pane in each box: ideal as display cases for displaying food. No copy, however successful, possesses the unique character of these unique specimens.
On some canisters you can still read the name of the former owner/business. Unique traces of use are small scratches, dents, faded and rusted areas. Witnesses of busy life, which is the special charm of these unique pieces. Thoroughly cleaned and reconditioned.
